Cherry Creek & Congress Park

Cherry Creek North is Denver’s densest concentration of galleries, boutiques, restaurants and hotels, spread over sixteen walkable blocks between First and Third Avenues. The housing is correspondingly varied — condominium buildings from the 1970s onward, rowhomes, and, on the residential blocks north of Third, some of the city’s highest-priced new construction. The Cherry Creek Trail runs along the creek to downtown in one direction and to Cherry Creek Reservoir in the other.

Congress Park, north of the shopping district and east of Cheesman Park, was built out between roughly 1890 and 1925 and it looks it: block after block of brick bungalows, Denver Squares and foursquares with deep front porches, a small commercial strip on 12th Avenue, and the Denver Botanic Gardens on its western edge. South of the creek, Bonnie Brae and Washington Park continue the pattern with Tudors, cottages and a growing number of newly built replacements.

Alesia bought and later sold an 1893 Congress Park bungalow on Fillmore Street for the same clients, represented the buyers of a Cherry Creek North condominium on Cook Street, and in 2025 represented the buyers of a newly built six-bedroom home in Bonnie Brae — her largest sale to date at $3,000,000.
