The neighborhoods north and west of downtown were built as streetcar suburbs between 1880 and 1930, which is why a single block can hold a Queen Anne, a Denver Square, a brick bungalow and a three-story townhome finished last spring.
Knowing which is which — what a 1905 foundation usually hides, what a 2015 party wall usually sounds like, which side of Sloan’s Lake gets the sunset — is most of the job. Alesia has closed more than 150 transactions here, most of them within four miles of the Nostalgic Homes office on 32nd Avenue.
