A small hillside neighborhood between the stadium and LoHi where 2000s condos and 2010s townhomes look straight across the river at downtown.
Jefferson Park takes its name from the park at its center — a hilltop green with a view of the skyline that has become the neighborhood’s calling card. It is bounded by Federal Boulevard, Speer Boulevard, I-25 and the stadium, which puts Union Station, Confluence Park and the Cherry Creek and Platte River trails within a walk.
Because it was largely light-industrial and modest housing until the 2000s, Jefferson Park has a newer feel than Highland next door: brick mid-rise condominium buildings along Front View Crescent and Clay Street, then a wave of three-story townhomes with rooftop decks after 2012, with a scattering of original Victorians and bungalows between them. Several buildings offer parking, elevators and one-level layouts that are hard to find in the older neighborhoods around it.
